With over 15 years’ experience as a landscape architect, awSCAPE was born from a desire to change the way we live in our urban and rural worlds. I have a deep-rooted passion for wildlife and water, and I have combined my first degree in Environmental Biology with my landscape architectural experience to change the way water and wildlife are perceived in our world.
Development is inevitable, but how we develop is so important for the future of our environment and our community welfare. I work to bring natural life to development and spaces; to create places that slow, clean and manage rainwater to prevent polluted watercourses; to bring everyday nature to everyone’s doorstep so we can all access nature and recharge; and create places that are engaging, distinguishable, and unique to their location.
My passion for environmental principles extends to green energy, recycling facilities and Energy from Waste. These are often contentious, but with preparing high quality LVIAs, detailed landscape mitigation plans and providing management advice, the landscape elements to these developments are uniquely designed to the local character and in accordance with guidance from Local Planning Authorities.
With experience and dedication to environmental principles, awSCAPE is committed to creating unique spaces and places by enhancing biodiversity through SUDS, wildlife friendly planting and high-quality design.
